Biography:

Madelyn is a long time resident of the West Kelowna area. During that time, and over a lifetime, the driving force of creativity has gained in strength. She has a long history of meeting the many challenges of making art, which would include recent completion of the BFA in 2005, a catalyst that challenged her vision.
The passionately driven work of this artist has a focus on highly textured surfaces, reflecting her concern for an environment at risk. Random, found objects, which symbolize all forms of life are adhered to the wood matrix. Her art surfaces offer opportunity for close scrutiny and investigation. This artist is dedicated to the forces of creation, and works daily in her home studio.
